How Far From Orlando to the Beach?

Orlando is centrally located in Florida so there is no beach in the city. There are three beaches on the east coast portion of Florida that are close to Orlando.  New Smyrna Beach is the closest beach from Orlando at 55.4 miles.  Nearby Daytona Beach is a close second at 55.8 miles from Orlando. Both are northeast of Orlando. Cocoa Beach is 59.8 east miles from Orlando. The closest beach on the Gulf Coast from Orlando is Hernando Beach, which is 87 miles.

New Smyrna Beach is about an hour away from Orlando and is 14.6 miles south of Daytona Beach. Motorist will take Interstate 4 East to Florida 44. New Smyrna Beach has 17 miles of beaches along with restaurants, shops and hotels.

Daytona Beach is also an hour away from Orlando. Motorists can take I-4 East until it ends at I-95 North. Then U.S. 92 until it ends into Daytona. There are 23 miles of beach in Daytona Beach and cars can drive on the beach. The Daytona International Speedway and the LPGA International – Hills Golf Course are among the attractions in Daytona Beach.

Cocoa Beach is east of Orlando and motorists can follow Florida 528 all the way to A1A south into Cocoa Beach. Cocoa Beach

Hernando Beach is the west of Orlando. Motorists start off on Florida 408 to Florida 50 to end at Hernando Beach on the Gulf Coast.
